The contest begins.... Now!

Draw, write or use any medium to portray Winter(my character) having fun in the snow. I thought it was appropriate as Winter is coming soon. You may draw her with her sisters or even her boyfriend, as long as Winter is the main subject of the work. Study the characters you choose, because most of the judging will depend on how well the characters(especially Winter) are depicted. Judging also looks for technique, and execution.

You will find information and drawings of Winter in my gallery, under the folder labeled "Four Seasons Why I Love You". More will be posted soon, so don't be too hasty to start. (Making a montage of all the best Winter pics I have. Plus a description).

For anyone who is using literature as your medium, there is a description in the artists comment on the drawing linked above. It has bits of my story and characters that should help you.

- You should not only depict my character and her personality, but your art style as well.

I really didn't want to do this but I have to extend the contest. I have two drawing finals due and it's all I do ALL day! It will end when my classes end. I felt it was necessary  to do this so I could judge the pieces properly. I want to take my time to pick the winners and have a discussion with the other judges, but as of now it is impossible. Pick your favorite candy(It doesn't have to be your favorite) and design an original character based on it. Use the colors and design of the candy itself and even the label. Be as fun and creative as you want. It can be chocolate candy, or sour candy. Whatever you want to use. One candy per character please, but you can create as many characters as you want. You can also enter as many times as you want.

Frequently asked questions:

Q: Does it have to be colored?
A: It's not required but I suggest you color it. You will have a better chance of placing, especially if you choose a colorful candy.

Q: Does the character have to be human?
A: No. I already have entries of canine and dragon creatures. You can even do a candy robot or fish if you want. The only requirement is it has to be a living creature-thing. It has to be capable of movement. No candy trees please.
